George from The Tax Defenders was terrific to work with. He indicated exactly what documentation I would need to provide in order for him to do a proper analysis to determine if The Tax Defenders would be able to help me given my particular situation. He got back to me within days and explained that given my circumstances, they probably would not be able to help as far as abatement was concerned, He did offer me the option of having them attempt to have the penalty removed. His analysis cost me nothing, and he was quite up front with the fee I would pay them, should I move ahead with having The Tax Defenders represent me to the IRS to attempt to have the penalty removed.
